End-Of-Day Failure Process

*Please check the email report from RTI called “End of Day/RTI Import” which you should have received between 7:00-7:30am EST. If your restaurant is marked in red within the report, please follow the steps below:

Confirm that the end of day was completed.

  1. Log in to the Sicom Manager Portal
  2. Under Sales > Reports > Inventory and Cash (ICR)
    1. On the new screen, ensure that the Current Business date is showing today’s date. If the date is showing the previous day, your store did not complete the EOD.  See the example below:

 

What to do when the end of day does not run

  1. Check all POS terminals and any line-buster tablets to make sure they are all logged off! Leaving a terminal or tablet logged on prevents the end of day from running.
  2. In the Sicom Manager Portal make sure that all inserts are logged off by going to:
    1. Sales > Tasks > Insert Close
  3. In the Sicom Manager Portal make sure that there aren’t any open shifts
    1. Sales > Tasks > Shift Close
  4. Please make sure that all the processes listed above are completed by 9:30 A.M. since IT will log into your POS and close your day after that time.

 

How to Import the Previous Day in RTI

*Note that RTI can only be imported after the end-of-day process has been completed and the POS is on the correct business date.

  1. Log in to RTI
  2. Under Task Lists > Import Prior Day (Sicom)
